| I want to thank a few of our members for a great weekend. Saturday, Leslie and I attended, new chamber member, Aaron's Grand Opening ~ WOW! What a party!! They had Lucky Dog Drawings, the Aaron's Race Car, Clowns, US 93.3, Food, and more along with a superb team of employees! I couldn't believe all of the people there. It was so packed, that parking became an issue ~ what a great issue to have! After we left Aaron's, we headed out to the Kendallville Home & Garden Show at the Event Center hosted by chamber member WAWK. Don Moore and his staff really outdid themselves this year. Again, WOW! The Event Center was buzzing with activity. Hayden's ATA even had board breaking opportunities outside! Leslie and I both had a blast talking with vendors and visitors and of course checking out the great products and services the vendors had on display. Both events had a record number of attendees and the weather was perfect! Leslie and I left each event excited about our community and the many great things a lot of our members do to make our community a great place to live, work, play, and visit. Thanks to all of you ~ Aaron's, WAWK, The Event Center, Vendors, and Volunteers for your hard work and dedication to make these events happen for the rest of us to enjoy!! |
