I, like most people in the East Noble School district, took a few days off over Spring Break. I couldn't get anyone in the family to go on vacation, so I enjoyed a "stay-cation." I spent time cleaning out closets, drawers, etc. and found some goodies for the chamber's garage sale at the fairgrounds April 25th. Wow, that was fun (not really).
After too much cleaning, I chose to spend some time running errands, shopping, etc. around the Kendallville area. You know, I was able to find everything I needed on my list (plus other things not on my list ~ sorry honey), while saving time and money. I was again reminded of all the great businesses we have in our local area. When we support our area businesses and charities, we're supporting area families.
Our VIP room of the website is expected to be fully functional by April 13th. When it is, many of you will be enticed by the coupons that will be available from chamber members. Ultimately you will find out what I was again reminded of this week ~ the Kendallville area DOES have a lot to offer.
So, how did I end my day of running errands and shopping? A trip to The Wellness Center for a little pampering ~ thanks Peggy! So, on your next "stay-cation," I encourage you to check out everything the Kendallville area has to offer. You'll be glad you did!
