Kendallville Area Chamber member ITT TECH held their 5th annual breakfast on Wednesday. The breakfast was dedicated to women and their achievements. While it was their 5th, it was the first that I was able to attend. Wow! is the best way to describe this inspiring breakfast ~ from the decorations to Dr. Deborah McMahan's speech, and the phenomenal award recipients!
Dr. McMahan talked about the responsibility of women (and men) to believe in ourselves, set goals and achieve them, and then inspire others to do the same. It's such a simple thing to do, but most of us give up on ourselves before we begin. We need to learn to have faith in ourselves so we can pay it forward!!
What a wonderful way to start the day! Thanks ITT TECH and all of the women in attendance for the inspiration!!
