Are you aware that if you are a downtown business, you can re-hab the face of your building and get up to $15,000 to help you do it?!?

The Kendallville RDC (re-development commission) has worked to offer a program to help make downtown Kendallville look better and better. A dollar for dollar match is available to fund this important work. For example; if you invest $10,000 in your building facade, then the RDC throws in another $10,000.What a great opportunity!

Call Scott Derby at the City Engineering Dept. (347-2152) or Mayor Handshoe's office (347-0352) ASAP and ask about the RDC Downtown facade improvement program. The application deadline is coming up quick! Somewhere in early August will be the deadline for 2009 project applications.

All cities and towns benefit in their economic development efforts if they can show an attractive downtown!

With this program and others like it, we can keep Kendallville and Noble County moving forward, TOGETHER.
