Noble County Education

The
East Noble School Corporation, of which Kendallville is part, is the
source of great community pride. Our schools consistently receive
statewide recognition for excellence. Academics, technology, and sports
are carefully balanced. With an dedicated team of educators and staff,
our young people are prepared to “become lifelong learners and
concerned, responsible citizens.”
Enrollment for the 2005-2006 school year is 3770, with 276 certified
staff members and 248 non-teaching staff. Nearly 60% of all East Noble
High School graduates continue on to higher education and another 25%
graduate with advanced vocational certification credentials. All schools

Oak
Farm School opened January 24, 2000 on a 22-acre farm in Avilla. We are
a Montessori school that currently enrolls 90 students from 3 months to
12 years of age. Oak Farm School includes an infant program for ages 3
months through 18 months; a toddler program for ages 18 months through 3
years; three primary programs for ages 3 years through 6 years; a lower
elementary program for ages 6 years through 9 years; an upper elementary
program for ages 9 years to 12 years of age; and a middle school for
ages 12 years through 15 years. Long term plans for the school are to

First
Christian Academy is an outreach designed to educate children
Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. It is located in the facilities of
First Christian Church, 110 W. Waits Rd. They provide a Christ-centered
worldview in small classes where students will receive the individual
attention so important for maximum achievement. For additional

Northeast Indiana Special Education
Cooperative serves students with special needs who are unable to be
served within the general student population.
Four County Vocational Cooperative
offers students more than 20 various vocational training
programs.
East
Noble Alternative School offers students a second chance who may
otherwise face expulsion from the conventional school system.
The Freedom Academy offers adults in
the Kendallville area a wide variety of adult education classes.
Post secondary education
opportunities are abundant in Northeast Indiana. Ivy Tech Vocational
College and Indiana/Purdue University, Concordia Theological Seminary,
St. Francis College, and Indiana Institute of Technology are located in
Fort Wayne. Tri-State University is in Angola. Goshen College and Notre
Dame University are located within easy driving distance.
