As a Chamber member, this complimentary service is designed to help you make a memorable introduction and establish your presence in the local Kendallville community.
How it works
- Contact the Chamber: Request the event, three weeks' notice minimum required.
- Coordination: The Chamber helps schedule the date, time, and promotes the event to members, city dignitaries, and the public.
- The Ceremony: A Chamber representative will be present at the event. A brief speech is given by the owner to welcome and to thank guests for coming.
- The Cut: The owner, with key supporters, cuts a large ribbon with oversized scissors.
- Post-Ceremony: Often includes refreshments, networking, tours, and photo opportunities.

What does the chamber provide?
- We bring the big scissors, ribbon, and take photos
- An invitation is sent to members, city officials, board members, and publically announced. (attendance is not guaranteed)
- Photos are posted on our Facebook page within one week of the event.
- An announcement the event was hosted will be in the e-newsletter for additional awareness.
